Iran’s Supreme Leader pardons over 2,000 inmates on Muslim feasts

The Supreme Leader's amnesty was granted on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha (the Muslims' feast of sacrifice and worship) and Eid al-Ghadir.

The amnesty was upon a proposal by the Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Ebrahim Raeisi.
