Iranian, Kazakh FM meet in Astana

Zarif, who has traveled to Astana to attend the new round of Syria peace talks brokered by Iran, Russia, and Turkey, had a working breakfast with Abdrakhmanov.

The Iranian and Kazakh ministers reviewed issues of mutual interest, called for expansion of trade transactions and stressed the significance of implementing previous mutual agreements signed in the fields of energy, transit as well as joint investment.

The two sides also called for removing obstacles hindering expansion of banking transactions and facilitating the visa issuance for economic activists.

Zarif and Abdrakhmanov also discussed the lasts regional and international developments.
