Kharrazi who is now in Uzbekistan made the remarks in a meeting with Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov on Thursday.
Iran cannot live without its neighbors and live with them and for the same reason all should assist to help restore regional stability, Kharrazi said.
Iran and Uzbekistan share common culture and civilization and should broaden mutual cooperation in various fields, he said.
Uzbek foreign minister, for his part, said Uzbekistan is now passing through reforms era during which all economic, social and political demands should be heeded.
Grounds for expansion of political, economic and tourism cooperation between the two countries are well-prepared and both sides should allocate more facilities to get a better result, he said.
Iran can ease Uzbekistan access to high seas through southern ports, he said.
Uzbekistan is to broaden regional cooperation with Iran in order to prevent regional threats, said Uzbek foreign minister.
