Iran urges Europe to present plans for JCPOA implementation

Ali Larijani made the remarks Sunday in a meeting with Andreas Schieder, head of foreign policy committee in Austria's parliament.

He also described Iran-Austria relations as productive and longstanding, and said there have been established positive relations between the two countries over past years.

Emphasizing the importance of the parliamentary ties between Tehran and Vienna, Larijani said, 'Currently, Iran attaches much importance to boosting ties with Austria, as the European country was among those that made efforts to enhance engagement with Iran following the nuclear deal.'

The Austrian lawmaker, for his part, described the bilateral ties as growing, enhanced by the visits of Iranian officials to Vienna.

Austria, as a member of the European Union, believes that saving the nuclear deal is not dependent on the US approval; therefore it will make effort to implement it thoroughly, he said.

There have been good arrangements on enhancing the relations and implementation of economic and cultural ties, he said.
