Iran, Turkey officials discuss consolidation of security ties

Iran's Deputy Interior Minister for Security and Law Enforcement Mohammad Hossein Zolfaqari and his Turkish counterpart in their phone conversation stressed execution of joint task forces' transactions.

They also studied the region's security status.

The two officials underlined continuation of consultations between the two countries' border guards and the importance of protecting the joint borders.
