Iran top commander: Terrorist groups era coming to an end

Speaking on Friday in a meeting with Defenders of Holy Shrine in Aleppo, Syria, General Baqeri said unity between soldiers and Defenders of Holy Shrine and their faith was the key to consecutive successes against terrorist groups.

He also hailed exemplary coordination between armed forces and people.

General Baqeri called for continuation of this coordination to uproot terrorism.

Baqeri held talks with Syrian Bashar al-Assad on Thursday.

During the meeting, both sides discussed establishing friendly cooperation and relations between Iran and Syria in all fields especially in fighting terrorism.
