Iran speaker urges unity among Palestinians

In a meeting with visiting Hamas delegation headed by Hamas’ Deputy Political Chief Saleh el-Arouri on Saturday, Ali Larijani called for Palestinian groups' unity against Israeli regime.

Iran has always supported the Palestinian people, the resistance groups and Hamas and would continue the supports, the speaker added.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Larijani pointed to the US measures against Iran nuclear deal, and said that the US is seeking to take concessions from Tehran through propaganda against the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The countries' reactions showed that such measures will only harm the US interests, he added.

Hamas official, for his part, underlined resolving the differences, but in the meantime noted that it will not abandon resistance against the occupying Israeli regime.

He noted that Hamas will not accept to get disarmed until complete liberation of the Palestinian lands.

The official pointed to recent reconciliation agreement between Hamas and Fatah movements and said, the agreement between Palestinians will result in isolation of Zionist regime.
