Sochi meeting was held Monday with the attendance of Hossein Jaberi Ansari, Senior Assistant of Iran's Foreign Minister, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkey Sedat Onal and Russian President’s Special Envoy for Syria, Alexander Lavrentiev.
Jaberi Ansari discussed the latest developments in Damascus with the UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura.
Earlier, Iran’s senior official also sat down for talks with Russian President's Special Envoy for Syria Alexander Lavrentiev and Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin.
During his bilateral talks, Ansari discussed the latest developments in Syria on constitution committee, refugees returning, prisoners swap and also the final draft statement of the meeting.
The ninth round of Syria peace talks participated by representatives of Iran, Russia and Turkey as well as the UN chief's special envoy on Syria was held in Astana in May.
