Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces for International Affairs Brigadier General Qadir Nezami and general Esipov, his Russian counterpart co-chaired the Iran-Russia joint military commission.
The two sides discussed issues of mutual interest and explored avenues for development of mutual cooperation.
Iran-Russia roadmap for cooperation in 2019 was also another topic discussed in the meeting.
Joint action against terrorism was also a major topic which was discussed during the meeting.
