'Like the previous years, some visits have been scheduled with heads of other countries and a speech at the UN for the president,' said Mahmoud Vaezi.

'The trip would be the fastest and least expensive way for us to exchange views about bilateral and international issues with the heads of other countries.'

He also denied the rumors about the meeting between the Iranian and American presidents.
