Iran, Oman to exchange judicial missions

The agreement was made in a meeting on Tuesday between Iran's Ambassador to Oman Mohammad-Reza Noori-Shahroudi and Chairman of the Supreme Court of Oman Ishaq bin Ahmed al-Busaidi, the country's highest judicial authority.

Iran and Oman are reportedly drafting an agreement on judicial issues, especially extradition of convicts.

About 100 Iranians are imprisoned in Oman. Some of the Iranian prisoners in the Persian Gulf littoral state have already been pardoned by Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Saeed and returned to Iran.
