'We, hereby, as representatives of the Iranian people, declare that the government is responsible, in addition to trying to guarantee the rights of the Iranian people in Iran nuclear deal, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), not to compromise on the rights of the people, the letter by 160 Iranian lawmakers to President Rouhani read.
The Iranian lawmakers also called on the government to adjust the level of its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in accordance with the conditions.
'After the US withdrawal from the JCPOA, our statesmen have been involved in verification of the conduct of the European governments in their approach to the nulear agreement,' the letter read.
'But past experience shows that there is serious doubt about determination of the Europeans in adopting a pragmatic approach,' it read.
The members of Majlis went on to urge the government of President Rouhani to take it as a reminder upholding three principles of Iran's policy, namely, dignity, wisdom and prudence and try to preserve values of Islam and revolution as well as national interests.
