Referring to the two border guards who were killed in a recent clash with terrorists in western Iran, Abdul-Reza Rahmani-Fazli in a message to Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari, the country's police chief, highlighted that the peace in western Iran has always been the target of enemies.
He called on all people to be alert in face of plots and conspiracies of the enemies, and urged crushing response to all terrorist acts.

The interior minister also expressed his condolences over the death of the two border guards and wished their families patience.
Earlier today, Iran's minister of intelligence said that several terrorist cells have been busted in the southern and southwestern provinces of the country during the past days.
'Despite the attempts by terrorist groups to harm the security, all of them have been identified and arrested so far, and we will have a safe Quds Day, God willing,' Mahmoud Alavi told reporters.
