Iran holds supporters of Yemen aggression accountable

Qasemi's remarks came in reaction to new terrible crimes of Saudi-UAE fighter jets in targeting civilians in the Yemeni Province of al-Hadida, which killed and wounded tens of innocent women and children.

Just recently a bus carrying children in Sa'dah was targetted and now the world is witnessing fresh wave of crimes committed against the oppressed people of Yemen, Qasemi said.

Civilians' massacre would not have continued to take place unless because of silence and indifference of influential international bodies, the official added.

'Considering the repetition of these human crimes and painful tragedy and their subsequent destructive impact on the regional and international peace and security, we once again urge the international and human rights bodies to prevent the repetition of such crimes by the Saudi-UAE fighter jets in Yemen in any possible way,' Qasemi said.

The countries which have supported the aggressors by supplying bombs and devastating weapons to them are accomplices to the crimes and have to be held accountable before the international community and the Yemeni people, the spokesman said.

He called on the United Nations and other influential countries to join efforts to immediately stop the attacks on Yemen and take the necessary measures to ensure the health and safety of the civilians, women and children in particular, in the country.
