Iran, Georgia border guards to meet in near future: Envoy

The Iranian and Georgian border guards will meet in the near future and would confer on mutual cooperation to clean up misunderstandings, Georgian Ambassador to Tehran Ioseb Chakhvashvili told reporters.

A sum of 17,000 Iranian nationals have referred to Georgian borders in November while only 434 people have been denied visa, he noted.

The Georgian ambassador said that 350,000 Iranian nationals have visited Georgia this year.
