The statement came in response to US Secretary State Mike Pompeo’s meddlesome remarks regarding Iran.

Zarif wrote in his tweet account on Monday, “US diplomacy Sham is merely a regression to old habits: imprisoned by delusions and failed policies-dictated by corrupt Special Interest- it repeats the same wrong choices and will thus reap the same ill reward. Iran, meanwhile, is working with partners for post-US JCPOA solution.”

Pompeo is a speech on Monday said that following withdrawal from JCPOA, the US is seeking sever financial pressure and unprecedented sanctions against Iran to contain Iran’s influence in the region and block its nuclear and missile programs.
