No article of Iran nuclear deal includes inspection of military sites, Bahrouz Kamalvandi wrote on his Telegram channel.
'This issue has not been raised in the nuclear deal, nor in the additional protocol and the safeguard,' the official said, noting that the international nuclear agency may request for access only to the centers where nuclear activities are being carried out.
'There are no grounds for the agency's inspection when there is no kind of nuclear activity in a center,' Kamalvandi said.
The case of inspecting military sites is a misleading point aimed to create opposing voices in Iran and to exploit those opposing voices to put new requests on the table, the official added.
He called on the UN nuclear watchdog to fulfill its duties in a professional and independent manner without being influenced by political coercion.
On a visit to Tehran due to be made by IAEA Secretary-General Yukiya Amano later tonight, Kamalvandi said that 'Mr. Amano's visit can be an attempt to bolster Iran deal and is of special significance'.
'We will fulfill the commitments we have accepted on the condition that the other parties to the deal fully honor their commitments.'
