Iran fighting terrorists to guarantee own security: Cmdr

'The Daesh (ISIS) Takfiri terrorists intend to target Iran's peace and security,' Abdollah Araqi said during a ceremony held in a Qazvin Province township.

Unfortunately, some parties believe that fighting terrorists outside Iranian borders has nothing to do with the country, the IRGC commander said.

'But we have to stand against terrorists for the safety of our own country and to defend our values,' Araqi added.

He said that should the Iranian defenders of the holy Shia shrines fail to fight Daesh, soon we would have to face the terrorists near our borders.
