Iran describes UN human rights report as 'fabricated'

The UN secretary general should not become the spokesman of Mojahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) and other anti-revolution opposition groups who are in exile outside Iran, Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani said in a local ceremony on Monday.

Alleged reports about executions and tortures in Iran are based on undocumented reports that are totally fabricated, he noted in reaction to a new report by the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres that is expected to be presented at the 37th session of the UN Human Rights Council, which began on February 26 and will last until March 23.
