Ibrahim Rahimpour said to reporters that the International North–South Transport Corridor (INSTC) is the main topic of the trilateral meeting between heads of states of Iran, Russia and Turkey, expected to be held early November.
He also referred to supports by Baku and Moscow for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and said that the Iranian officials are expected to confer on the issue with their Azeri and Russian counterparts.
Rahimpour said that Tehran, Moscow and Baku regional and international cooperation as well as the Syria talks in the Kazakh capital, Astana are other topics scheduled to be discussed.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is to pay an official visit to Tehran on November 1 to attend trilateral meeting between heads of states of Iran, Russia and Turkey.
The first trilateral meeting between Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan was held in 2016 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
