The enemy aims to increase pressure on the country's economy and boosting national consensus is essential, Eshaq Jahangiri said on Tuesday.

Commenting on the US withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), he said that the country is now in a new condition and the enemies are seeking to impose pressure on the country's economy in particular in the fields of oil, gas and petrochemical industry.

Government is committed to resolve the problems in the petrochemical industry, the official added.
