Iran, Belgium discuss regional, Int'l issues

Belgian delegation also focused on the strategic issues of the Sixth Development plan with regard to paving the grounds for other countries to invest, Ali Larijani said.

Larijani also pointed to the economic and trade cooperation as one the topics discussed by both sides.

The Iranian parliament speaker pointed to terrorism as a common issue between Iran and Belgium, and urged both countries to establish international cooperation to solve the problem.

He expressed hope that the Belgian counterpart's trip will help develop parliamentary and economic relations and establish international cooperation to restore peace to the region and the world.
