Due to the attempts made by the Kermanshah's Intelligence office, a separatist team of terrorists who entered the country from the western borders was monitored and destroyed, the Intelligence Ministry's statement noted.
Two of terrorists were killed in the armed conflict with the security forces, the statement added.
It said that several rifles, ammunition, explosives and documents were seized from the terrorists.
The documents confiscated from terrorists proved that the terrorist team was supported by certain reactionary Arab regimes of the region, the Intelligence Ministry's statement added.
It noted that the terrorist team planned to conduct several terrorist operations in the western region.
