Iran, Algeria emphasize promoting parliamentary ties

Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Emigration of the National Popular Assembly of Algeria, Abdelhamid Si Afif appreciated his Iranian counterpart Alaeddin Boroujerdi’s invitation.

He also underscored reinforcing economic relations between two countries.

Parliamentary diplomacy can help reinforcing peace and stability and fostering talks to remove tensions and to settle the regional crises, Si Afif said.

Referring to Algeria foreign policy as regard not to interfere in other countries internal affairs, he highlighted the importance of addressing disputes peacefully.

Ameri, for his part, pointed to the latest conditions of bilateral ties in political, economic, cultural and parliamentary fields.

He also called for boosting parliamentary relations, saying Iran considers no limitation for developing cooperation with Algeria.
