Iran advisory presence brings back peace, stability to Syria: MP

Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) in Damascus on Monday, Head of Majlis (parliament) Foreign Policy and National Security Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi said the Resistance Front's presence has distracted the US equations to disintegrate Syria.

Iran's presence in Syria is under Syrian government’s demand and will continue till full liberation of all occupied territories by terrorists, he said.

The recent tripartite attack on Syria was aimed at supporting terrorism and to encourage defeated forces.

The US together with its allies, the UK and France targeted the Syrian capital city of Damascus on April 14.

The US attack on a military base in Homs, western Syria injured 3 civilians, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) earlier reported.

The media affiliated to the terrorists had claimed that the Syrian jet fighters conducted a chemical attack on Douma last Saturday killing 75 people and injuring scores of others.

This is while Syria had earlier warned against terrorists’ attempts to orchestrate chemical attack scenario in Eastern Ghouta.

Iranian MP slammed recent blind military moves by the US in Syria, saying they are aimed at compensating for their defeats during the Syrian crisis.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Boroujerdi referred to the Zionist regime of Israel’s recent aggression on Syria as indicating their aggressive nature.
