Helicopter carrying Saudi officials crashes

The officials on board included Deputy Head of Asir Region Prince Mansour bin Maqren, Mayor of the region, Saleh al-Qazi and deputy mayor, Salman al-Jarish as well as director of agriculture department, Fahad al-Fartish, among others, Okaz newspaper official website reported.

It added that the crash happened in Abha region in south of the country.

Other Arab media outlets such as Al-Jazeera reported that Asir Police chief was also among those lost their lives in the incident.
