Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu during his meeting with Hossein Zolfaqari, Deputy Interior Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Monday, expressed his satisfaction with the visit of the Iranian delegation to the country and referred to high negotiations and high-level relations between the two countries as vital and significant.
He emphasized the cooperation between the two countries to resolve security problems in the region and the international arena.
While analyzing and discussing recent developments in Iraq and Syria, the situation of refugees and displaced persons and the actions of trans-region forces, the two sides highlighted the need for cooperation between the two countries in the fight against terrorist groups, organized crime and restoration of security and calm in the region, especially for the people of both countries.
During the meeting between Zolfaqari and the Turkish official, the two sides also described the relations between the people of the two countries very well and demanded more services in the field of tourism development by the two sides and the handling of the related problems.
During his visit to Ankara, Iranian official also met and conferred with his Turkish counterpart, Muharrem İnce. In this meeting, the way of cooperation between the various security, and police departments in the past year was evaluated.
