FM spox: Suspicious hands at work to mar Tehran- Kabul ties

Speaking to reports in his weekly press briefing, he said Iran's policy is based on supporting Afghan's territorial integrity and national resolve.

Iran never meddles in the affairs of other countries and expects others to do the same, Qasemi said.

'We believe that some suspicious elements are trying to attributes some problems in Afghanistan to Iran,' he said.

They seek to damage existing friendly ties between Tehran and Kabul, Qasemi said, calling on Afghan officials and others to exercise vigilance and not to be deceived by such propaganda, he said.

Iran supports contacts between the Afghan government and all active (political) parties inside the country and spares no effort to help restore stability and security to the country, he said.
