EU: Zionist regime’s settlements against int’l laws

EU reiterated that the Zionist regime’s plans to set up settlements will risk possibility of establishing an inhabitable Palestine in future.

Expressing its strong opposition to the settlement policies, it added that development of settlements will block achieving peace.

The Zionist regime on Tuesday announced establishment of 650 new residential units in Ramallah in West Bank.

Last week, Zionist media declared that Zionist officials are planning to set up 20,000 units in in Quds.

The United Nations and international institutes consider Israeli settlements as illegal.

The international community considers the establishment of settlements in the Israeli-occupied territories illegal under international law, because the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 prohibits countries from moving population into territories occupied in a war.
