Enemy trying to wreak havoc in Iran: Official

The adversaries are trying to use various tools, including the economic sanctions and cyber atmosphere, to spark unrests in the Iranian society, Head of Iran's Civil Defense Organization Brigadier General Gholamreza Jalali said on Saturday.

He noted that the enemies have integrated various types of war tools against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The official called for unity in the country, and said that all apparti should be ready for various enemy scenarios.

All the US plots against Iran, including their efforts to make chaos in the country, were foiled, he added.

Washington left the historic Iran Deal on May 8 giving 90- and 180-day wind-down periods to other countries before it starts re-imposing oil sanctions on Tehran on November 4. Despite the world’s criticism over Washington’s move, US President Donald Trump reinstated nuclear sanctions on Tehran and imposed as he claimed the “highest level” of economic bans on the Islamic Republic of Iran.
