
Talking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reporter on the sidelines of the 36th edition of Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF) in Tehran, Cornie Meijens said she is one of Farhadi’s fan.
'I love the works of Farhadi, specially 'A Separation',' she said.
“I am also the fan of Internationally-acclaimed late Iranian film director Abbas Kiarostami’s films,” she said.
“I love Kiarostami’s films, the 'Taste of Cherry' in particular,” she said, adding that Kiarostami’s works is very extraordinary.
Presided over by writer-director Reza Mirkarimi, the 36th edition of Fajr International Film Festival will continue until April 27.
The event organizers expect to receive over 300 special guests from around the world, ranging from filmmakers to screenwriters, actors to activists.
A host of A-listers are also scheduled to attend, including legendary Italian actor Franco Nero and influential American film director Oliver Stone.
