Bashar al-Jaafari said on Sunday that the return of the displaced Syrians does not have to do only with the country's government, but also with those states that have imposed 'unilateral coercive economic measures', the Syrian news agency SANA reported.
If the measures are lifted, the economic pressures on Syria will be alleviated, he said.
Al-Jaafari also referred to chemical weapons as an additional tool to put pressure on the Syrian state and to use it as propaganda against Damascus.
He also noted that despite enormous pressure on Syria from terrorists and the international front supporting htem, the country has gained victories in fight against terrorism.
