Iran's role in the fight against terrorism is excellent, the Chinese ambassador said in a meeting held in Tehran with Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, special aide to Iran's Majlis (Parliament) Speaker.
In the meeting, Pang Sen said China attaches importance to the expansion of relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran in various issues.
The use of considerable capabilities the two sides have can help foster friendly ties more than before, he added.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Sen condemned pressures and verbal threats put and made by the US officials against Iran and said the era of the following unilateralism and putting pressures on the world's independent countries is over.
For his part, Amir-Abdollahian said Tehran and Beijing are witnessing growing relations in all areas, particularly in the parliamentary field.
Good talks and cooperation on the international and regional issues are underway between Iran and China, he noted.
Talking of the US officials who speak in a harsh tone with Iran, Amir-Abdollahian said such tone deserves the American officials.
He added no one in Iran cares about absurd political rhetoric adopted by the White House officials.
At the end of his remarks, the Iranian officials appreciated the Chinese ambassador for his constructive efforts to expand Tehran-Beijing friendly relations.
Chinese officials have repeatedly declared that they are against US unilateral sanctions against independent countries including Iran.
