
Speaking in a meeting with head of South Korea central bank, Hemmati referred to both countries' relations in political, economic and cultural fields, criticizing decreasing economic exchanges which happened under the influence of the US sanctions.
Referring to the negative impact of banking problems on two countries' relations, he expressed hope for solving the problem soon.
Meanwhile, Head of China central bank expressed regret over Chinese banks' performance which are resulted by their fear of the US penalties.
He promised to spare no effort for following up and solving the issue.
Earlier, in a meeting with South Korean Ambassador to Iran Yu Jang Hian, Hemmati complained about the obstacles created by the South Korean banks in the way of Tehran-Seoul trade relations, saying the source of Iranian assets is clear.
He added that there is no reason for the Korean banks to prevent Iran from taking advantage of its sources under the pretext of US sanctions.
Iranian government and people will not tolerate such sabotage, he said, adding that Iran expects the South Korean officials to resolve the obstacles to direct banking relations between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Jang Hian expressed readiness to help develop economic relations between two countries.
