British, French FMs favor Iran enjoyment of JCPOA benefits

The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), known as the deal on Iran’s nuclear program, was signed between Iran and six international mediators to offer Iran sanctions relief in return for constraints on its nuclear program.

Zarif, for his part, underlined the need for providing guarantee by the other parties to the deal to pave the way for Iran to get its benefits from the JCPOA.

During the phone talks, they agreed on holding intensive expert meetings at the level of ministers.

On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump announced the country’s withdrawal from the landmark international pact, a decision which drew fierce opposition from the EU, Britain, Germany and France, which are still committed to the JCPOA.
