Bosnian officials made the remarks in a Friday meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Sarajevo Mahmoud Heidari.
The Prime Minister of Una-Sana Canton Husein Rošić also expressed his interests in developing ties with Iran.
Una-Sana Canton has special position as regard agricultural products, wood, tourism and having natural sceneries, he added.
Heidari for his part elaborated on Iran’s economic potentials and expressed readiness foe promoting cooperation with Bosnian important cities.
The Iranian envoy met with Mufti of Una-Sana Canton.
Referring to religious and cultural commonalities between Iran and Bosnia , Heidari said preserving unity and fighting Islamophobia are the most important duties of Muslims.
He underlined the importance of being aware of takfiri ideology and terrorism.
Meanwhile mayor of Bihać extended readiness for maintaining bilateral cooperation with Iran.
He also appreciated Iranian embassy's approach to having active participation in Bosnian cities.
