Baku supports JCPOA: Azeri official

Azerbaijan supports the Iran Deal officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Hikmat Hajiyev told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

The JCPOA is surely to the benefit of global and regional peace and friendship, Hajiyev said.

Last week, Azerbaijani President's Assistant for Public and Political Affairs Ali Hasanov wrote on his Facebook page that his country will not take part in any move against the friendly countries of Iran, Russia and Turkey.

Despite the past and present pressures put on Baku, the country will never let anyone use the Azeri soil against other states, Hasanov stressed.
