Azeri official dismisses transfer of Iran’s alleged nuclear documents via Baku

Hekmat Hajiev told IRNA on Friday, “Claims made in this respect have been thoroughly studied and I say for sure that transfer of alleged documents on Iran nuclear program via territory of Azerbaijan Republic is not true.”

A Kuwaiti daily has recently claimed that Israeli intelligence service has transferred Iran nuclear program documents via Azerbaijan Republic to Israel.

Netanyahu recently claimed Israel has obtained 'Iran’s secret files' which reveal Tehran is still pursuing nuclear weapons program secretly even after the JCPOA came into effect.

The statements met with wide-scale global response, as many countries and international organizations rejected Netanyahu’s assertion.
