After the new wave of violence against the Muslim minority in Myanmar and Aung San Suu Kyi supportive silence, the world criticized her and the Myanmar officials; however, they have taken no serious steps to halt the massacre.
In the violence, 400 Muslims were killed and some 370 thousand fled to Bangladesh.
A spokesperson from Myanmar's ruling party said on Wednesday that the senior advisor to the government and the foreign minister will not participate in the UNGA this year.
The killing and the silence have been so cruel that many people have demanded her Nobel Prize be taken back.
In the last year's UNGA, she defended Myanmar government's attempt to solve the Muslim minority's problems.
However, Second Vice President of Myanmar Henry Van Thio is expected to take part in the UNGA session.
After the violence against the Muslims intensified by the Myanmar military, following some attacks on some police and army checkpoints, the pressures on Myanmar have been growing.
The silence and inaction of the global community and the so-called human rights advocates over the textbook example of genocide in progress in Myanmar made many freedom-seekers cry out for global action.
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the Muslim countries should put more political and economic pressures on the cruel government of Myanmar.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the massacre of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar is a political issue as it has been orchestrated by the government in the country headed by Aung San Suu Kyi a ruthless woman and Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
'In fact, what is happening in Myanmar has killed the Nobel Peace Prize,' he said.
Ayatollah Khamenei also said that, the killing of Muslims in Myanmar is taking place in front of the eyes of the Muslim nations, global community and hypocritical and dishonest governments as well as the so-called human rights advocates.
Iran Supreme Leader went on to criticize the Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres for paying lip service and just condemning the Muslims genocide in Myanmar.
He said the so-called human rights advocates who provoke controversy over punishment of a criminal in a country, are now sitting idly by in the face of the massacre and displacement of tens of thousands of people in Myanmar.
He described as wrong trying to reduce Myanmar predicament to a religious conflict between Muslims and Buddhists.
