The Islamic Republic of Iran relies on its people and is an independent and sovereign country, Mousavi said, adding that Iran makes decisions based on its national interests and security.
'There is no stalemate for the Iranian nation,' the spokesman said.
The Islamic Republic of Iran will never be caught in the dilemma of choosing between war and negotiations or any other dilemmas, he added.
The Iranians have proved over the course of the history that they are men of negotiations and are also men of combat whenever necessary, Mousavi said.
