Americans not banned from Iran economy: Iranian VP

'These are the Americans who have barred themselves from economic engagement with Iran,' First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri said, addressing a ceremony held in Tehran to mark Iran's 21st National Exports Day.

The US officials, by adopting wrong policies, have banned the American companies from cooperating with Iran, Jahangiri added.

Referring to recent remarks by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the government official said Iran has no problem to engage with any country in the world, except for one country and one regime.

Iran is willing to widen ties with the world, he said.

Elaborating on the country's economic plans, he also said that Tehran intends to provide countries that buy Iranian commodities two billion dollars in credits.

The 21st ceremony on the National Exports Day (Oct 21) kicked off in the Iranian capital on Saturday with participation of Jahangiri and Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Shariatmadari.
