Algerian Sufi head warns Iran to avoid traps

'Some parties, by hatching plots, are trying to drag Iran into a war,' Khaled Bentounes, Head of the Al’ Alawiya Sufi order told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) in a recent exclusive interview.

Bentounes said that such a war would hurt all Muslim and that everybody should be watchful against the plots.

'I hereby say hello to my brothers in Iran and wish them success and warn them to try to avoid the traps set for them,' he said.

The Algerian religious figure went on to say that some warmongers are after harming Iran and Muslims.

'That is why I urge everybody to keep the warmongers under constant watch,' Bentounes said.

He also emphasized that Muslim nations should try to cooperate with one another.

The Al Alawiya Sufi order has many followers in Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, Palestine and Syria as well as some European countries.
