Afghan MP expresses interest to expand ties with Iran

She made the remarks in a meeting with Head of Majlis (parliament) national security and foreign policy commission Aladdin Boroujerdi.

Kofi said Afghanistan policy is to create balance in relations with other countries, especially neighboring states.

She appreciated Iran for its behavior by Afghan immigrants and preparing appropriate situation for their education.

Following Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) implementation and opening the Chabahar economic zone it became an opportunity for expansion of economic cooperation.

She acknowledged about approval of laws in Afghanistan parliament concerning women, and added that fight against drug trafficking needs world countries collaboration.

Boroujerdi pointed to good and old ties between Iran and Afghanistan said that Iran has always welcome strengthening and expanding of all-out cooperation with Kabul and parliamentary interactions will play positive role in this concern.

Existing crises in the region, including Afghanistan, caused by interfering policies of the US and its western allies to create conflicts in the Islamic world.

Boroujerdi pointed to regretful situation of Yemenis and said that more than 15000 innocent people were killed in Yemen in the past three years and around 800000 are afflicted to Cholera, whom are permitted to receive medicine.

The Iranian senior MP said that currently 'human rights' is just a beautiful word and now it is necessary that all world countries get out from their defensive position in this concern.

Existence of more than 2 or 3 million Afghan immigrants in Iran in the past 30 years and offering different services to them is among Islamic Republic of Iran honors and added that strengthening and developing mutual cooperation is possible only on the shadow of sustainable security among countries.
