The conference, the first and second editions of which were held in 2017 and 2018, will be held next year sometime between January 21-February 19, 2019 with the motto of regional security in West of Asia, prospect of stability, cooperation and collective progress.
This year, the conference will be proceeded by three local and international forums in the months leading to the security conference.
The forums will form authentic frameworks for discussing regional issues, drawing up the security, foreign strategies and policies of Iran as well as proposing ideas for reaching collective security and progress.
Cooperation and conflicts in West of Asia, collective progress, strategies of regional and extraregional players on peace and stability in West of Asia, defense diplomacy in the region, the role of Iran in establishing peace and stability will be among the main topics of the conference.
High-ranking Iranian and foreign officials from 49 Asian and European countries attended the 2nd Tehran Security Conference in January 2018.
