30% of Afghan drugs destined to Iran

Hadinejad told a group of provincial officials on Wednesday that appropriate measures have been adopted to confront the phenomenon.

He said measures need to be taken to upgrade border security and make it for the drugs dealers growingly more difficult to be active in Iran, especially in the West Azarbaijan Province.

Meanwhile, Deputy Governor General of West Azarbaijan Province Ali-Reza Radfar said Iran is serious to fight drugs and fighting its supply and demand is given the priority.
