Director of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Reference Laboratory (EMC) of the Iranian Space Research Center, Shahram Ghaebi, addressing the opening ceremony of the center on Monday, stressed the need for foreseeing all necessary measures to be able to cope with the hard situation duraing its launching. He said 'When the satellite is in orbit, there will be a difficult time so we must pre-simulate these steps to succeed.”
'Our policy was to set up the center according to the standards pursued by foreign countries, and by the mid -2020, we will have a center in level of well-founded laboratories in the world,' the official added.
According to him, the center is presently ready to render services for one-ton systems in accordance with international standards.
'We are now able to provide services to 150 kilos satellites', the official noted.
Ghaebi went on to say, 'We will test the Zafar satellite in the first six months of the next Iranian year, Pars 1 and Nahid 2 are also the products of the Space Research Center and its tests will begin.'
