US budget proposal inconsistent with 'America First': Analyst

Trump's administration has sent Congress a $ 4.4 trillion budget proposal that envisaged a large increase in military spending. The rise has provoked much controversy among the American politicians.

'This proposed budget is an absolute disaster; Trump is submitting something that has nothing to do with an America First foreign policy, or America First domestic policy,' former US Senate Candidate Mark Dankof said in an interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

'This budget clearly reflects the priorities of the deep state in the United States,' he said.

It 'guarantees ominously that there is going to be further military conflict in the world being fueled by the United States,' he said, adding that as former US President Jimmy Carter said, the US government is being run by an 'oligarchy'.

The 'oligarchy' is first and foremost comprised of the Israeli lobby, 'the absolute stronghold the Zionist regime of Israel has on the American government, both the executive and legislative branches of that national government,' he said.

The Zionist regime, as an element of the 'deep state' in the US, 'has its claws into the multinational corporate media in the country', and has 'tremendous involvement with the United States' national security establishment,' he said.

Other elements of the 'deep state', according to the analyst, are the main bankers and the gas and oil companies.

The fourth element of the 'oligarchy' are the armament manufacturers.

'Donald Trump is committing the United States to further illegal military actions in Syria that are violations of international law and the sovereignty of that country that even do not have the formal approval of the United States Congress in terms of what we are doing there,' Dankof said.

'It is clear that the US is threatening Iran illegitimately, and that involves both the Zionist regime of Israel and Mr. Netanyahu's desire, as well as the desire of the central banking system, the oil and gas consortium and the armament companies, who are manufacturing a case against Iran, which is completely false,' he argued.
