Deputy Minister of Oil in Petrochemical Affairs and Managing director of the National Iranian Petrochemical Company (NIPC) Behzad Mohammadi said that the activities carried out in the special economic zone of the energy consuming industry of Parsian are significant in the petrochemical sector.
He added that considering the existing technical infrastructure under construction, such as obtaining legal permits and proximity to the airport, sea, Assalouyeh region and food sources, Parsian could be a new hub of the petrochemical industry.
The Parsian region is one of the development hubs in the country, which, given the economic, social, political, security, environmental and geographical components, allows the establishment of various energy consuming industries.
Based on the plans drawn up in this special area, except for the development of the petrochemical industry, the creation of industries such as steel, aluminum, and the development of infrastructure such as export docks and electricity and water production are underway.
