Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Muhridin made the remarks in a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Tajikistan Hojatollah Faghani.
During the meeting, Muhridin expressed satisfaction with the activities of Iranian companies in Tajikistan, in particular, the Rogun power plant.
He also described the Iranian officials, including the country's foreign minister and energy minister's visit to Tajikistan as constructive.
The Tajik foreign minister and the Iranian envoy explored avenues for cooperation and agreed to hold the meeting of two countries' joint economic commission in coming months.
