Abbas Sufi made the remarks on Monday while referring to his joint meeting with Switzerland ambassador to Iran Markus Leitner.
Switzerland is one of the suitable countries in tourism and investment fields, Sufi told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
Hamedan municipality has held meetings with Switzerland envoy to Tehran, he added.
Swiss officials also underlined having cooperation with Hamedan as tourism destination, he noted.
Holding Hamedan cultural week in Switzerland, signing of sisterhood agreement between Hamedan and Swiss cities, academic exchange, transfer of technical experiences and civil and crisis management were among other topics discussed by both sides, Sufi reiterated.
